With the U.S. mired in a 2002 recession, Garrity and his partners founded XANGO, a category-creating company, and became the first to bring the coveted mangosteen fruit to the global marketplace.
Under Garrity’s leadership as chairman, president and CEO, XANGO became a story of unprecedented success and innovation in the direct-sales industry, pioneering new standards of excellence for distributor compensation, communications and use of technology.
After just five years, XANGO became recognized as a force in direct sales and nutrition with over one billion dollars in cumulative global sales and more than one million independent distributors in more than 40 international markets.
Known for his visionary drive and exacting standards, Aaron simultaneously earned MBA and Juris Doctorate degrees while working full time managing product launches for a multi-national nutrition company.
Ernst & Young honored Garrity as a Corporate, Culture and Career Architect with its 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Utah Business Magazine named him CEO of the Year in 2008, noting his achievements in fostering a workplace of service, creativity and leadership at every level.
Garrity sits on the CEO council for WFDSA and the board of directors of the Direct Selling Association (DSA). In 2009, he was named one of the “most influential people in direct sales” just days after ringing the bell on the floor of the NYSE with other industry CEOs.

Growing up in rural Ontario, Canada, Joe Morton was introduced to the efficacy and simplicity of natural products (mom Gabriella owned a health-food store), and the power and wisdom of network marketing (dad Gordon, Sr., ran the Canada offices of a multinational network-marketing company).
A passionate advocate of the network marketing lifestyle, Joe has dedicated his executive career to driving a global evolution in distributor relations, building dialogue with leaders at every level of XANGO’s vast network.
Joe is known for his tireless efforts on behalf of XANGO’s distributors worldwide. Joe’s determined mantra of discovery and recognition of new leaders has propelled XANGO’s phenomenal growth and field success stories.
Before founding XANGO, Joe led international business and global expansion for several network-marketing corporations. As he helped build the new international footprint of the direct sales industry, Joe immersed himself in the culture of each market and cultivated relationships with leaders worldwide.
Joe loves spending time with his wife, Caryn, and their four children. He also contributes his time and resources to things like leading charitable missions through the XANGO Goodness Foundation, and he has served on the board of an area Chapter of the Boys & Girls Club, and with the Boy Scouts of America. Whether it’s on the slopes or in the office, nothing compares to actual experience — and Gordon Morton has lived it all. Gordon’s experience and education give him the skills and know-how to keep his skis pointed downhill and his eyes peeled for obstacles.
Gordon and his partners founded XANGO in 2002. Having been a full-time independent distributor for a network-marketing company during the 1990s, Gordon brings a depth and breadth of experience that few in the industry can match.
As a founder and board member, Gordon’s philosophy is engrained throughout the company’s DNA, beginning with its commitment to create measureable and meaningful improvements to the quality of life in communities worldwide. In addition to ongoing leadership and vision, Gordon also boasts three fundamental contributions to the company’s rich history: 1) He came up with the name “XANGO,” 2) he authored the company’s peerless compensation plan, and 3) he championed the company’s charitable-giving efforts worldwide.
With the same nutritional and direct-sales background as his brother Joe, Gordon studied and earned his degree in Organizational Development, and he holds an honorary doctorate degree from Canyonville Christian Academy. He has been a guest lecturer at various universities and institutions, and was honored in Sao Paulo, Brazil for his corporate responsibility at the International Summit of Young Entrepreneurs.
In spite of his busy schedule, Gordon definitely prioritizes family first. He and his wife, Rachel, have been married 15 years, and thoroughly enjoy spending time with their three children. They are also avid travelers, and they’re just as likely to be found at an exotic European destination or Caribbean locale as on humanitarian missions to Ghana or Thailand.
And, as might be inferred from the introduction above, Gordon is an avid skier and enjoys making fresh tracks throughout resorts in Utah, home to the “Greatest Snow on Earth.”
Founder/Board Chairman Emeritus
As XANGO’s first CEO, from 2002 – 2006, Gary Hollister now serves as the company’s Board Chairman Emeritus. Hollister, along with his partner Aaron Garrity, also was named a national finalist in the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
As Chairman Emeritus, Hollister is traveling extensively to support XANGO Distributors and help fulfill XANGO’s aggressive global growth strategy. He also continues meeting regularly with the board of directors, lending strategic insight to his fellow founders and the executive team.
After graduating, Hollister went to work for the accounting firm Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young), later accepting a position at Merle Norman Cosmetics. After 14 years in the accounting department, Hollister was named president and COO. In a span of five years, he helped engineer growth in annual sales from $60 million to $250 million, more than doubling the number of franchises.
Hollister next became president and CEO of MEI Salons, Inc., in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He later founded The Hollister Group, a marketing organization to serve the beauty and fashion industry, where he was instrumental in the successful launch of Michael Jordan Cologne, the largest-ever introduction of its kind.
In 1997 Hollister was recruited to be president and CEO of a Utah-based company. It was there that he first met and worked with Aaron, Joe, and Gordon, and where he formed his passion for the life-altering benefits of network marketing.
Kent Wood was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting.
Kent spent most of his early career auditing, consulting for and working with some of Utah’s most successful network-marketing companies. One of XANGO’s original founders, he was their first chief financial officer. Since then, Kent has served in many capacities, namely XANGO’s COO, president of operations, and president. Now a member of the company’s board of directors, Kent is responsible for XANGO’s Europe and Africa markets.
Kent also has been identified as one of Utah Business Magazine’s “Forty Under 40,” an annual recognition of Utah’s most successful and significant businessmen under the age of 40.
In what spare time he can call his own, Kent is an avid sportsman, with special focus on running: he’s actively working toward qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
Kent and his wife, Melanie, are the parents of five daughters.
Since joining XANGO in 2004 as senior vice president of business development, Beverly Hollister has inspired tens of thousands along their journey to wellness and success. A founding member of the Women Building Bridges movement, Beverly is the embodiment of living successfully and purposely, and she does it with never-failing charm and grace.
Beverly joined XANGO’s board of directors in June 2014, but before that she led development, formulation and marketing of many of XANGO’s industry-leading product lines.
She also has launched a mangosteen-based essential-oils line, and actively contributed to development of XALO® Ageless and XANGO’s FAVAO™ weight-management products. Beverly has logged millions of miles and visited six continents offering training and mentoring in support of women’s empowerment.
A responsible-products thought leader with an active role in the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and the Breast Cancer Network, Beverly is a member of the National Association for Female Executives, Lexington “Who’s Who” and Cosmetic Executive Women. She has also been recognized by Utah Business Magazine as one of “Utah’s Most Powerful Businesswomen,” and a “Woman to Watch.”
Beverly has been named one of the “30 Most Powerful Women in Direct Sales” for multiple years by directsellinglive.com. For her vision in creating XANGO’s personal-care lines, Hollister helped XANGO achieve recognition as a “Champion of Safe Cosmetics.”
